About us
Caretable Pty Ltd is a registered company based on the Central Coast, now expanding into the Newcastle area. Devoted Abilities facilitates our supported independence programme on the ground, on behalf of Caretable. Together, we support adults with disability to build genuine independence through our Housing Independence Pathway.
When we enter into a tenancy, Caretable Pty Ltd is the legal tenant on the lease, not a private individual or sole trader. An incorporated company carries all obligations, with documented financial policies, and a named contact for every tenancy.
Our support workers visit participants regularly and provide hands-on assistance with daily living, home maintenance, and property upkeep. The home is never left unmanaged.
For your agency
Your landlord gets an accountable organisation as their tenant, with accountability structures most private tenants simply cannot offer.
Properties we're looking for
We're actively looking for properties in and around Newcastle. If you manage something that fits, we'd love to talk.
Our commitments
We commit to the same standard we hold our participants to: clear, prompt, and professional at every stage.
Who we work with
A successful partnership requires an agency that engages thoughtfully, not one that will simply tolerate the arrangement.
If your agency fits this description, we'd welcome a conversation.
About Caretable & Devoted Abilities
Caretable Pty Ltd is a Central Coast-based company and the corporate entity behind Devoted Abilities, our operating brand delivering disability support programmes. We have been doing this for five years, with a team carrying over 25 years of combined experience in community services.
Our clients are high-functioning adults living with invisible intellectual disabilities. Many hold jobs, engage actively in their communities, and manage their daily lives with little or no support. What they struggle with is the formal process of securing and maintaining a tenancy: paperwork, inspections, communicating with property managers, understanding lease obligations. That is where we come in. In most cases, a landlord would never know anything was different about this tenancy.
Our approach is outcomes-focused: we build genuine independence for participants, not dependency on services. We are establishing a carefully managed portfolio of residential properties across the Central Coast and Newcastle as part of our Housing Independence Pathway, a structured programme designed to prepare participants for independent tenancy over time.
